Ciao a tutti, ho un computer fisso del 1995 con il sistema operativo Windows XP, purtroppo ho solo 1 GB di memoria ram e 32 bit,il mio problema e che si blocca facilmente anche solo aprendo il browser e il lettore musicale di Windows insieme, ho provato e riprovato tutta la notte a capire come installare Xubuntu 14.04 LTS sul computer anche mettendolo in una chiavetta vuota e formattata prima di mettere il contenuto di Xubuntu. Potete darmi una mano? Grazie.. P.s. non sono molto pratica quindi tante cose spiegatemele per favore :( |

Ciao aura, che guida hai seguito per installare Xubuntu sul pc? Per quanto riguarda Ubuntu e le sue derivate (tra cui appunto Xubuntu) ti consiglio vivamente di seguire le guide Wiki di Ubuntu-it; la sezione dedicata all'installazione è questa, vale tanto per Ubuntu quanto per Xubuntu. Su pc piuttosto vecchi il boot da chiavetta usb non è possibile (ovvero non puoi installare Ubuntu da chiavetta). Non sapendo se sul tuo pc è possibile o meno, direi di tagliare la testa al toro e di masterizzare l'immagine di Xubuntu su un dvd (non riscrivibile). Una volta fatto, all'avvio inserisci il dvd di Xubuntu. Se non parte l'installazione di Xubuntu, dovrai modificare i parametri di boot. Letto così può far paura, in realtà è molto semplice: basta dire al pc quale dispositivo leggere per primo in fase di accensione. E' comunque tutto spiegato nella pagina Wiki che ti ho segnalato. Prima di tutto, come sempre, fai una copia completa di tutti i tuoi dati su un dispositivo esterno (hard disk, chiavetta usb ecc). |

Ciao! Capisco che stai avendo difficoltà nell'installazione di Xubuntu 14.04 LTS sul tuo vecchio computer. Ecco una guida passo passo su come farlo: Scarica il file ISO di Xubuntu 14.04 LTS dal sito ufficiale di Xubuntu. Scarica e installa il software Rufus sul tuo computer. Inserisci una chiavetta USB vuota nel computer. Avvia Rufus e seleziona la chiavetta USB come dispositivo di destinazione. Seleziona il file ISO di Xubuntu 14.04 LTS come immagine di avvio. Imposta il tipo di partizione come "MBR" e il sistema file come "FAT32". Fai clic su "Avvia" per creare la chiavetta USB di avvio di Xubuntu. Dopo aver creato la chiavetta USB di avvio di Xubuntu, segui questi passaggi per installare Xubuntu 14.04 LTS sul tuo computer: Inserisci la chiavetta USB di avvio di Xubuntu nel computer. ciao alevipri,la cosa strana e che ho seguito tutto cio che c'era scritto sul link che mi hai mandato,provo a farlo con il cd stasera , ma devo inserire il cd solo quando e gia acceso o quando si sta accendendo?
E si esattamente ho scaricato xubuntu 14.04 LTS a 32 bit :)
Il disco d'installazione va inserito prima che parta Windows XP, quindi in fase di accensione del pc. Puoi inserirlo a pc acceso per poi riavviarlo, così il pc partirà con il cd già inserito :)
Attenta a non eseguire l'installazione tramite Wubi che non è più supportato!!
