Ciao, dopo aver installato Ubuntu 15.10 64bit UEFI in dual boot con tutti i crismi (disattivando Riavvio Veloce e Secure Boot), il boot ancora si ostinava a far partire solo Windows. Allora ho scatenato Boot Repair che, come molti di voi sapranno, chiude così:
Ho eseguito pedissequamente quest'ultima indicazione, ma nulla è cambiato e ho perso qualche giorno reinstallando più volte il tutto. Finché qui ho trovato l'indicazione giusta:
Cioè se ho disabilitato Secure Boot, l'istruzione di Boot Repair è sbagliata! Secondo me questa cosa andrebbe segnalata nella guida all'installazione. Comunque volevo chiedere alla fine: che differenza c'è tra i due file efi e perché la scelta influenza il boot in relazione a Secure Boot? |

Perché Non è GRUB che se ne preoccupa, ma è shim che, una volta autenticato tramite la chiave che Canonical ha comprato da Microsoft, lancia GRUB. Per più info ti consiglio una lettura della guida Ubuntu apposita sul pasticcio del Secure Boot (in inglese). |
