Uso Kubuntu 16.04 64bit

Da un paio di settimane sto rilevando del problemi con Plasma. Va spesso in crash segnalando questo errore:

Spiacente Plasma si è chiuso inaspettatamente Puoi aiutarci a

migliorare i programmi KDE segnalando questo errore  [etc]

Temo che sia un problema di driver della scheda video... Ho una GeForce GTX950 con i driver nouveau... e ho impostato una risoluzione: 1920x1200 (si non la solita 1920x1080, perché altrimenti sborda e ogni volta che riavvio devo configurare il panning dello schermo).

Qualcuno ha qualche suggerimento?

No il problema è nato da quando ho messo i noveau... non sono sicuro che dipenda da quello, ma è il motivo più probabile. Potrebbe anche essere la risoluzione 1920x1200 (invece di x1080).

Con i proprietari avevo un problema del "panning" dello schermo e la "scalatura" che andava impostata ad ogni riavvio.

Potrebbe dipendere da qualche altra cosa?

Se con i proprietari funzionava, non vedo altra causa che i nouveau.

La soluzione è tornare ai proprietari e cercare di risolvere il panning (magari tramite xrandr), nel frattempo segnalare il problema agli sviluppatori dei nouveau qui e aspettare che lo risolvano in futuro.
