Buongiorno a tutti, sono un utilizzatore di Ubuntu da poco tempo. Il mio notebook è un hp compaq cq 58 e, una volta terminata l'installazione di ubuntu 18.04, quando premo le frecce laterali sulla tastiera durante la scrittura di testi mi escono fuori caratteri strani tipo "qe0" se premo la freccia sinistra oppure "4113" se premo la freccia destra. Ho provato a seguire varie guide per le impostazioni lingua e tastiera ma nulla. Ringrazio in anticipo.

grazie per l'interesse. Gli altri tasti funzionano tutti come devono, qualsiasi editor uso. Il problema della freccia destra e sinistra che non funzionano e danno caratteri strani lo fa con tutti gli editor e con tutte le barre di testo dei vari browser

  • quale sotto-tastiera italiana hai provato? ce ne sono diverse

Buongiorno, lè dò le risposte in ordine di come mi ha posto le domande: -> dal live già funzionano in modo errato; -> riconfigurato diverse volte e con diversi modelli di tastiera ma nulla -> non ho capito l'uso di xev ma provo ad approfondire

Comunque adesso anche in windows 7 ho lo stesso problema. Per sfizio ho provato a collegare una tastiera usb della logitech di un pc fisso che ho a casa e magicamente, sia in win7 che in ubuntu 18.04, il problema sparisce. A questo punto penso sia un problema di impostazioni di grub, perchè se ho solo installato win7 funziona tutto e appena ci affianco ubuntu 18.04 ho problemi. Come si può intervenire in grub per settare le tastiere, ammesso che si possa fare?

il pc è un portatile compaq cq58-206sl

Buonasera,

è questo il percorso del file da cercare? /home/veronica/.local/share/xorg/Xorg.0.log non riesco a trovarlo per aprirlo. la ricerca l' ho effettuata tramite il comando " locate Xorg.0.log " Grazie.

fino a /var/log ci arrivo, poi nella cartella log non ho nessun file Xorg.0.log

Ho sbagliato qualcosa?

ha data e aggiornamento della sessione in corso?

i valori sono:

"xkb_model" "pc105"

"xkb_layout" "it"

un tentativo sarebbe quello di creare il file di configurazione e tentare dei valori da li:

sudo xorg -configure :1

ti crea il file in /root/xorg.conf.new

e vedere quali valori utilizza li'

  • generare il file di configurazione di Xorg, e vedere quali valori imposta per xkb_model e xkb_layout

sudo xorg -configure :1

creera' il file /root/xorg.conf.new

Ciao prova ad andare su --> Impostazioni ---> Regione e lingua ---> sorgenti input ---> selezioni il tipo di tastiera, puoi aggiungerne e se clicchi sul logo della tastiera puoi provare se i tasti corrispondono
