I want to run Server.jar file on my ubuntu server, but when i try to run i receive this error: LinkageError occurred while loading main class socket.Server java.lang.UnsupportedClassVersionError: socket/Server has been compiled by a more recent version of the Java Runtime (class file version 57.0), this version of the Java Runtime only recognizes class file versions up to 55.0 How can I fix it? I compiled this file whit eclipse but I can't change eclipse compiler otherwise the libraries used in the program would not be recognized. I should install a newer version of java on my ubuntu server, what can I do? (Sorry my bad english) |
